What is Developmental Delay?
Every child has a set of developmental milestones that he/she should meet within a given
age. Sometimes some children because of Fragile X syndrome or other Chromosomal abnormalities miss these milestones and have underdeveloped cognitive, physical, and emotional skills. It is referred to as a Developmental Delay.
